Birth Of Ayurveda

Ayurveda is told to be a substantial part of Atharva Veda, which is one of the 4 ancient Vedas. Atharva Veda have many references about Ayurveda. So it is told to be a part of it. Vedas time period is told to be 3000 BC. So it can be stated that, Ayurveda was originated before 5000 years.
The people living in that era were knowing about Mathematics, Architecture, Construction, making steal vessels etc. They also had knowledge about yoga, archery, various languages, astrology, art, singing, dance, commerce etc. So it can be told that, people living in that era were much advanced. This era is known as Vedic Era.
In this Vedic Era, Brahmin & some devotees had special knowledge about some Mantras & Techniques. They used these techniques for special purposes . They learned & achieved these techniques with the help of yoga & meditation. They possessed power to start raining in any season or to travel from anywhere to anywhere within no time.
It is told that, Universe has originated from the Cosmic Sea. Lord Dhanwantari is said to be the Lord of Ayurveda science. He came from this Cosmic Sea as the 4 th diamond. He used this Ayurveda science for the well-being of the people living in the universe. He used his special powers to treat any type of health ailments.
In all we can say that, Ayurveda have many references in the ancient Vedas. As time passed, the knowledge about Ayurveda vanished step by step. References about Plastic surgery show that, surgery up to this level was being done at that time.
